About
Researcher, engineer, architect
I am a computational design researcher with a background in both electrical engineering and architecture. My work uses data, simulation, machine learning and games to help people understand and shape cities and their heritage.
I hold a PhD in Architecture and Sustainable Design from the Singapore University of Technology and Design, where I was a doctoral researcher at the Future Cities Laboratory, and an MSc in Architectural Design Computing from Istanbul Technical University. I was a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft and have taught at Columbia GSAPP, Istanbul Technical University and MEF University.
